Job role includes

Responsibilities / Activities:

  • You will work alongside experienced welders / fitters to gain an understanding of the various skills involved in welding / fabricating
  • You will perform activities independently, but with close supervision
  • Be able to understand and adhere to all health and safety rules regarding all aspects of the workshop
  • Carry out such duties as may be required from time to time at the request of line management and which are deemed to be within your capability

Duties:

  • Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
  • Cutting of materials to precise measurements
  • Drilling of materials where specified on the drawings
  • Use of all M.I.G welding techniques
  • Use of all fabricating techniques
