We are seeking to recruit a new member to join our pharmacy family in our innovative small team of qualified professionals, as an apprentice Pharmacy Assistant. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to higher level qualification.

Duration: 1 Year 3 Months

Expected start date: 16/03/2026

Hours per week: 37.5 hours

Wage: (Annually)

Job role includes

  • Dispensing of medication to patients
  • Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription medication
  • Check and monitor prescription slips
  • Health & Safety Responsibility
  • Rotation of stock
  • Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card
  • Data Entry relating to medication
  • Labelling and Dispensing
  • Accuracy and Attention to detail
  • Working within a team environment
  • Liaison with doctors, surgery and health professionals
  • Completion of apprenticeship work on time
