Immediate start with a small and friendly dental practice in Heywood. We are a small friendly run practice and would like to welcome an apprentice on board to work as part of a team. An exciting opportunity for an apprentice to complete the L3 Dental. We are looking for an enthusiastic dental nurse, full training will be given.

Duration: 1 Year 9 Months

Expected start date: 16/03/2026

Hours per week: 38.5 hours

Job role includes

This is an exciting role for an enthusiastic and able individual to train as a Dental Nurse. You will be completing a wide range of duties involved with assisting the Dentist in the care of customers. These will include:

  • Chairside assistance – passing instruments to the dentist
  • Updating patient records as instructed by the dentist
  • Setting up and preparing the surgery
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control.
  • Keeping patient information confidential
  • Following all workplace policies and procedures
  • You will also be required to perform a receptionist service to customers, booking appointments and welcoming patients
