We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual looking to build a long-term career in a specialised industry as a Polymer Processing Operator. We are partnered with a global, industry-leading chemical / silicone production company who are keen to invest in an apprentice to join their growing team.

Duration: 3 Years

Expected start date: 20/12/2025

Hours per week: 38 hours

Wage: (Annually)

Job role includes

  • Operate the manufacturing process to the required quality and safety standards and relevant operating procedures
  • Maintain required standards of plant housekeeping to ensure safe and efficient working practices for all
  • Compliance with standards for quality and consumption of material
  • Routine batch manufacture
  • Perform in-process testing of batches being manufactured

This is a 3-year apprenticeship in the training to run production assets and ancillary equipment/ facilities combined with apprenticeship day release both online and in person on site.

You’ll become a multifaceted professional with exposure to the full process of silicone production, whilst gaining a competitive Level 3 Polymer Processing Technician qualification providing an overall industry education from experts in the field.

  • You will gain a Level 3 Polymer Processing qualification with the potential to gain additional qualifications as you progress
  • You will carry out training onsite in the Momentive conference room
  • You will do training on block release
  • Functionals skills in English and maths if required

    • You'll gain complete exposure to the entire facility- Momentive will be more than willing to offer further investment and progression across any part of the business that interests you
