You will be there to support your room leader and other practitioners and make sure you are following instructions for the day-to-day running of the room and make sure the children are happy and well cared for. It is expected that you will work with your colleagues throughout the nursery as a team, communicating efficiently.

Duration: 1 Year

Expected start date: 16/09/2025

Hours per week: 37.5 hours

Job role includes

  • Implement and promote all Nursery Policies and procedures
  • We would like you to assist with the daily routine of the nursery, following all policies and procedures
  • All staff members are expected to ensure that work with colleagues is supportive and professional and ideas and tasks are shared
  • Ensure children’s records are kept up to date
  • Act as a positive practice role model to ensure that the nursery values are maintained
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times and ensure confidentiality is maintained
  • Attend and participate in out-of-work activities, e.g. parents' evenings, staff meetings
  • Be aware of the high reputation and uphold its standards
  • Be flexible with the working practices of the setting
  • Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by line management
