We have an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Vehicle Technician. As an apprentice, you'll play a key part in supporting the maintenance and repair of a range of vehicles, learning diagnostic skills, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of the automotive industry.

Duration: 1 Year 7 Months

Expected start date: 01/11/2025

Hours per week: 42.5 hours

Wage: (Annually)

Job role includes

  • Work alongside skilled technicians to inspect, diagnose, and repair various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
  • Perform basic service tasks.
    Learn to use diagnostic equipment and software to identify vehicle faults.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organised workspace by following all health, safety, and environmental protocols.
  • Assist in completing service records and maintenance documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Attend and participate in all training sessions with Mantra Learning.

About employer

Castlecroft Motors Ltd, Bury, has been servicing cars and light commercial goods vehicles for over 25 years. Due to our large workshop of over 6,000 sq ft we are able to cater for any car or commercial vehicle of up to 3.5 tonne at short notice. ​ As well as servicing cars and light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonne we fit new tyres and undertake MOT checks.

  • 1 day a week at Mantra Learning.

    • Light Vehicle Level 3 apprenticeship.
    • L2, 3 and 4 in Electrical and Hybrid Vehicle.
    • MOT tester.
