This exciting Software Engineering Apprenticeship, specialising in Data Science, will offer the chance to immerse yourself in the software world from day one. You will learn all of the skills needed for a successful career as a data scientist as well as the wider business knowledge that will help you to thrive in a corporate setting.

Job role includes

You will help to:

  • Develop algorithms to manipulate and understand data from railway assets or internal business data
  • Create dashboards to visualise the output from data investigations and manipulations
  • Work within a wider software engineering team to support from a data science perspective
  • Work on both larger projects as well as investigative spikes to understand the art of what is possible

You will also require keen skills in internal and external stakeholder engagement as well as cross-functional engagement and presenting.
