Job role includes

A normal day would include:

• Read and interpret drawings to ensure accurate production
• Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines
• Double-checking design specifications before commencing with cutting work
• Constructing base templates if necessary
• Using a variety of welding methods to include MIG and TIG
• Plasma cutting
• Using CNC press brake
• Using hand fitting tools and techniques
• Fabricating and constructing metal components
• Grinding and finishing completed products
• Understand Health and Safety procedures and apply to their working environment
• Learn how to use measuring tools (electronic and manual) to take precise measurements for cutting and shaping
• Select appropriate tools and settings for a given task
• Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment
• Maintains a safe and clean workstation
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Eventually working independently and part of the Provel team
