In this civil engineering apprenticeship, you will join a team that supports our water division. Your role will support undertaking a variety of civil engineering tasks for projects including treatment works, pumping stations and pipelines. You will assist Engineers on activities throughout the project lifecycle to reduce our environmental impact.

Duration: 5 Years

Expected start date: 01/09/2025

Hours per week: 37.5 hours

Job role includes

During your apprenticeship you will:

  • Gain exposure on the project life cycle from start to finish. Such as getting involved in the design process, where we will teach you to use relevant systems such as CAD
  • Support undertaking a variety of civil engineering tasks for projects including treatment works, pumping stations and pipelines
  • Be supported to develop more technical skills, to assist Senior Engineers with report writing, evaluating risks and environmental impact
  • Help us to problem solve, creating sustainable solutions to support client’s needs

You will work closely with other disciplines within the project team such as mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure that the right solution is being delivered as projects progress.
