We have an opportunity for an apprentice to join our Student Information team, ensuring an outstanding service is provided to internal and external customers in an efficient and effective manner.

Duration: 16 Months

Expected start date: 03/06/2024

Hours per week: 37 hours

Job role includes

  • Provide a high quality administrative service to the Student Information Team
  • Accurately and effectively input and update data records
  • Monitor data input processes on an ongoing basis and inform the Student Information Team Leader of any backlog or issues
  • Collate, analyse and validate relevant data to produce required reports (e.g. application & enrolments)
  • Support the enrolment process for all learners
  • Collate and process relevant college documents and data requests for e-shots and mailings
  • Provide excellent customer service support through liaison with internal and external customers regarding student information systems, processes and data
  • Develop user manuals and support in-house training to users of the Student Information systems
  • Undertake training and professional development to maintain a high level of expertise within the role
  • Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of the College’s data and information related procedures and systems
  • Ensure that the processing and storage of all learner related data is compliant with relevant legislation and is fully secure at all times
  • Work proactively with curriculum and business support staff to maximise student numbers identified in curriculum plans, for all learners
  • Provide a high level of advice, guidance and support to applicants either over the telephone, in person or by email
  • Support events; for example, interview events - be a first point of contact for curriculum teams, applicants and parents during allocated events
  • Proactively liaise with appropriate staff to ensure the College schedules (e.g. interviews, enrolment) meet current demand and allocate relevant time slots as required
  • Assist in validation of all data to confirm the integrity of management reports and external returns
  • Undertake other duties as required to support the needs and demands of students, staff and the College
  • To reflect on the work of the area, uphold the Values of the College, contribute to innovation and development, drive continuous improvement and share good practice, in liaison with line manager
