The goal is to administer a portfolio of liquidation cases with the aim of progressing them to closure in a timely manner. There are excellent prospects for progression within the role and promotion to a senior level for the right candidate.

Hours per week: 37 hours

Wage: 17992 (Annually)

Job role includes

A normal day would include:

• Administering your own case load, being responsible for meeting deadlines and producing high-quality written work
• Ensuring all cases are closed in a timely manner
• Ensuring all compliance targets are met and that case diaries are kept up to date
• Prioritising your workload
• Dealing with general correspondence
• Liaising with company directors, shareholders and their professional advisors
• Working closely with experienced team members and managers will allow candidates to progress in their personal development and study toward professional insolvency qualifications, in due course

Full Apprenticeship training provided, working towards an Intermediate Level Apprenticeship gaining a Level 2 Accounts/Finance Assistant Qualification.

Apprentices will be required to take one of the professional qualifications listed below, as chosen by the employer to be most relevant to the job role:

  • AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting
  • ACCA Certificate in financial and management accounting (level 2)
  • IAB Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping
  • ICB Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping

On completion, the apprentice will be able to apply for the appropriate level of professional membership aligned with this apprenticeship, dependent on the qualification chosen. Professional body memberships that are relevant to the options for this apprenticeship are:

  • IAB – Associate Level Membership
  • ICB – Associate Level Membership

Neither AAT nor ACCA offer professional registration upon completion of this apprenticeship.
