This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an experienced setting whilst gaining an accredited childcare qualification, and expanding your skills and knowledge. Working with a team of experienced childcare practitioners to provide a high-quality care and support to children from birth to aged five.

Duration: 12 Months

Expected start date: 04/03/2024

Hours per week: 40 hours

Job role includes

  • We are looking for someone to work with qualified staff to deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years
  • To learn how to develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child’s development
  • To be responsible for any tasks delegated by other qualified staff and Deputy Nursery Manager/Nursery Manager
  • To complete all academic aspects of the apprenticeship

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Learn how to plan and implement stimulating and inclusive activities
  • Encourage all aspects of communication development
  • Support all aspects of children’s health, safety and wellbeing at all times
  • Learn how to maintain accurate registers and children’s development records
  • Learn how to build effective relationships with parents, children and work colleagues
