About the placement

This exciting internship provides a unique opportunity for T Level students to gain real-world experience in social media marketing within the rapidly growing hydrogen sector. Working closely with the founder and managing director of Circular Refining, a leading UK innovator in hydrogen technology, the intern will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the company’s social media strategy.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Creating engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
• Developing and managing social media calendars and campaigns
• Conducting social media research and analysis
• Monitoring social media conversations and responding to inquiries
• Assisting in the development and launch of new social media initiatives
• Collaborating with the founder to define and refine the company’s social media vision

The intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of social media marketing, including content creation, strategy development, platform management, and community engagement. They will also gain valuable insights into the hydrogen industry and the role of technology in driving the energy transition. About the T Level – Digital Production, Design and Development

On the course, students will develop an understanding of:

• how digital technologies impact business
• the ethical and moral implications of digital technology
• using data in software design
• using digital technologies to analyse and solve problems
• digital environments, including physical, virtual and cloud environments
• emerging technical trends, such as Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Blockchain, 3D printing
• legal and regulatory obligations relating to digital technologies
• the privacy and confidentiality of personal data
• the technical, physical and human aspects of internet security
• planning digital projects
• testing software, hardware and data
• digital tools for project management and collaboration
