You will join a diverse team of talented engineers, giving you exposure in the design, development, qualification and release of new products at Nexperia. You will get the chance to work with project teams on exciting activities towards the release of cutting-edge power management products that will eventually be used in the automotive market, industrial equipment and even consumer electronics like battery charging circuits or multimedia equipment.
Location: Bramhall Moor Lane, Hazel Grove, Stockport, Cheshire, United Kingdom, SK7 5BJ.
About the placement
By joining our cutting-edge Research and Development team you will gain a great deal of exposure in the research and development phases of power management MOSFET products. A MOSFET (Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor) is a type of transistor used for amplifying or switching electronic signals in products that you see every day. It is a key component in many electronic devices due to its efficiency and reliability.
You will focus on:
- Product Development – You will gain exposure to design systems that are used, technical ways of working, project management and product specification.
- Product Release – You will be working with experienced project teams on activities to ensure the cutting-edge products are released on time for our customers. You will also help ensure that the products meet strict reliability and quality standards, so they do not fail when applied to the end product.
This is a truly exciting position giving you the chance to see how Nexperia are helping the UK work towards Net Zero with the products that we release.
