At the end of the week, you work collaboratively to create a live show that will air on Reform Radio on Friday afternoon.

The course kicks off with a taster session on Wednesday 29th November – 12.30pm – 2.30pm where you will meet the facilitators and the rest of your group. The course runs for two weeks, weekdays only, from Monday 4th December – Friday 15th December, 10am – 4pm.

Creative Leadership

Creative Leadership is a blend of all you need to know about facilitation and being a freelancer. If you’ve ever thought about setting up your own business, it’s important to understand your audience, being self-employed and doing taxes. Facilitating workshops and delivering socially engaged projects in your community will require you to know how to write funding bids, work with partners, plan sessions and evaluate their success.

Each session runs 10am – 4pm, eligible to those aged 19-30 seeking further employment.

Lunch will also be provided and public transport travel reimbursed.

You’ll also work with a Creative Practitioner on how to channel your experiences and new learning into meaningful creative content, such as creative writing, poetry, song-writing or art. Finally, you’ll collaborate on the design, production and recording of a radio programme that will showcase the journey you and the group have taken on the project.
