GCSE results day support
GCSE results day is Thursday 21st August 2025.
The National Careers Service have a few tools that could help you:
- Explore Careers – learn about jobs, qualifications, and salaries
- Skills Assessment – find out more about your skill set
- Contact the National Careers Service with a parent/guardian for phone support
A level results day support
A level results day is Thursday 14th August 2025.
The National Careers Service have given the following advice to help:
- Know your options. Post 18 options are: university, gap year, vocational training, work, and apprenticeships
- Unexpected grades. Appeal your grades, consider resits to improve your grades, and use UCAS Clearing.
- Stick to your plan. Research all pathways ahead of results day, and on results day, stick to your plan and stay calm.
- Mental wellbeing. Make sure you speak to someone if you’re feeling stressed or overwhelmed.
- Adviser support. You can get support from the National Careers Service using their website or by phoning them.
