We offer a huge range of apprenticeships, traineeships and courses for people throughout their working lives. As well as practically based training, we also offer a wide range of classroom-based courses designed to cater for all levels and all ages. Our apprenticeships are designed with progression in mind so you can move on to advanced apprenticeships and higher apprenticeships and, in some occupations, on to higher education.
GREATER MANCHESTER SKILLCENTRE
The Greater Manchester SkillCentre in Trafford Park, Greater Manchester, is a purpose built, state-of-the-art training facility, specifically built for training the next generation of apprentices and trainees. You will be supported by expert tutors, gain real life experience in a working environment and there is a free mini bus from many locations in Greater Manchester!

Over 90% employment and training progression
Over 90% of our apprentices progress into employment after their apprenticeship or go onto further study.
Traineeships
Our Traineeships are designed to prepare you for progression on to an apprenticeship or employment. You will develop the valuable skills that employers are looking for with our skills development programme that includes a work placement. You may also be eligible for a bursary whilst you are on your Traineeship.
Study Programme
Our Pre-Apprenticeships, also known as Study Programmes are designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills and behaviours which you will need to progress on to an apprenticeship, employment or further study. You can learn your way into a job that suits your passion with our help and support. Our speciality courses can help! You will get the skills and qualifications to get into a career path you’ll love. Our courses can help open the door to great opportunities such as an apprenticeship, further study or employment.
Apprenticeships
Are you looking to get a head start in your future career and earn money at the same time? If the answer is yes, then see how an apprenticeship can get you ahead of the competition. Apprenticeships are an exciting option – you get hands-on training and also the chance to put your skills into practice. Apprenticeships are available at multiple levels. From school leavers, people upskilling in their careers and complete career changes. There are hundreds to choose from – from engineering and manufacturing, to IT and digital and some include a qualification, like a degree.
