Jamaicans Inspired UK (JamIn UK)
JamIn UK is what the JA Diaspora Future Leaders evolved into. It was founded by young people for young people to create empowering opportunities for young people of Jamaican heritage.
Jus Psychology professionals are on hand to support the mental health needs of young people and their families, with a focus on cultural diversity and social justice. Their work puts a big focus on Black and Minority Ethnic (BAME) young people living in the North West of England.
MaCO is a volunteer led organisation that helps Congolese people and local BME groups in Manchester reconnect and build up their lives and community. They offer health advice services, early prevention for mental health, healthy lifestyle and nutrition, health advice, and education including IT and a youth club.
The Pakistani Resource Centre
The Pakistani Resource Centre is a registered charity and voluntary organisation that helps to provide support to South Asian Communities in Greater Manchester. They can help you and your family with issues like mental health, welfare rights, counselling, domestic violence, learning disabilities and the criminal justice system.
Manchester Smart Works
Do you feel like you don’t have a job interview outfit because you can’t afford one? Manchester Smart Works can give you a complete job interview outfit and accessories which are yours to keep. They can also give you one-to-one training to help you feel more confident about your ability to succeed.
Moss Side Millenium Powerhouse
This venue has a range of services for all young people in Manchester including those of BAME heritage. It features a library, the Connexions services, and a mental health support service called EMERGE.
