We are looking to recruit a bricklaying apprentice to carry out work on new builds/residential properties. You will be laying bricks, blocks and other types of building components in mortar to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches and other structures.

Duration: 24 Months

Expected start date: 06/05/2024

Hours per week: 40 hours

Wage: (Annually)

Job role includes

We are looking to recruit a bricklaying apprentice, you will predominantly carry out work within residential and commercial properties. Laying bricks, blocks and other types of building components in mortar to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches and other structures.

Applicants must be reliable, hardworking and able to work well on your own or as part of a team

You must -

  • Be committed to work, study and gain experience within the trade.
  • Work alongside fully qualified and experienced multi-skilled staff
  • Maintain tools and equipment to the required levels and in accordance with health & safety standards.
  • Maintain stock of building materials and help with restocking when needed
  • Ability to follow clear instructions and follow health & safety practices put in place

MJ Melia Brickwork offer a variety of building services all carried out by trained, skilled and experienced building professionals. We primarily work on new build housing estates for large contractors.
