Green Industry Skills Fair
Local companies joined forces to talk to schools across Greater Manchester about what skills are needed in the 'green' economy. Watch their presentations here.
In Greater Manchester, we aim to be carbon neutral by 2038. That means future jobs are going to be much more focussed on making this happen for the benefit of everyone.
On 6th June 2021, we held a Green Industry Skills Day with employers from across Greater Manchester. They presented interactive workshops and pre-recorded videos that helped young people learn about the skills and job roles needed to make the 2038 target a reality.
They talked about products and services relating to sustainability, environment, low-carbon and the green supply chain.
